About Carson Wilber

I seek to dedicate my time to improving the world wherever I can by creating new things, inspiring people, and investing in projects that effect positive change.To that end, I co-founded and served as Chair of the Board of Inertia, a Pensacola area nonprofit with the vision to ensure every child is given the opportunity to reach their full potential. The many community partners we worked with helped us to deliver on that mission while serving high-impact, hands-on opportunities to learn to hundreds of students throughout our school district. I have continued to serve my community through multiple nonprofit Board positions, including the WSRE-TV Foundation to fundraise for my regional PBS station and the IT Association of the Gulf Coast to facilitate the annual ITEN WIRED technology summit.I also live this philosophy of improving the world through my work as a Program Manager at \"Big Blue.\" In the age of a cultural shift to working almost entirely online, a growing number of devices and software that the every day consumer interacts with, and ongoing adversarial efforts that test the limits of cybersecurity infrastructure, I am committed to delivering high-quality service to our clients and to ensuring the safety and privacy of end users everywhere.I am always looking for new opportunities to do my part.    After 2 successful years delivering DAST/SAST programs and manual code reviews as a Penetration Tester, I transitioned to a role as a Program Manager for X-Force Red. I facilitate the day-to-day logistics of securing new contracts with internal and external clients, delivering penetration testing programs, and consulting on best practices for security and privacy by design & security management strategy. I work with a wide variety of clients in healthcare, financial services, and higher education, as well as federal, state, and local government agencies in the US & Canada, with specialized expertise in quantum computing infrastructure and artificial intelligence applications.
