About Carson Monson
Vice President of Corporate Services at Wildfire Defense Systems (WDS), with direct oversight of key departments including Facilities, Security, Real Estate/Construction Dev, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management. During my time with WDS I have worked with some of the nation’s largest insurance clients, developing Wildfire Risk Management services, Real Estate and Technology Advancements and Product Development. My prior experience in the emergency response field as an EMT, Volunteer Firefighter, 911 Disaster Response Manager and Helicopter Rescue Technician, informs and shapes my current position with WDS. My 28+ years’ experience in Project Management, leading projects with annual budgets in excess of $28 million, has given me the knowledge and confidence to fulfill my leadership position at WDS.Focusing on Coaching, Team Development, Real Estate, and Architecture has also contributed to my professional strength. My position requires me to acquire, configure, maintain - then visualize, develop and produce solutions for all WDS departments. My team uses innovative technology, agile methodology and analytics, combined with strong business development, to grow and maintain our corporate strategy, systems and products. My team and I focus on user experience, innovative architecture, secure environments, social and usability engineering, along with visual design ascetics, to drive change and development in our sectors of the organization.I strive to increase my skills through organizational improvement, product, and industry education, cutting edge technology research and proven agile business techniques. In my spare time I enjoy all things outdoors, traveling, playing music, cooking and my many electronic photography gadgets. My passion and my drive are fueled by the many talented and positive minded people that I am fortunate to be surrounded by!
