About Carson Meter
My current role at Mead & Hunt as a Civil Engineer began in July 2024. My responsibilities consist of utility coordination with SCDOT and private utility companies, and utility design of water and sanitary sewer lines for local municipalities and counties. Most of my time is spent working in MicroStation (Power GEOPAK) creating plan and profile designs. I also have experience creating utility plan sets in AutoCAD/Civil 3D. I previously worked at ENTRUST Solutions Group as a Design Engineer from April 2022-July 2024 designing natural gas distribution & transmission pipelines. My projects ranged from mainline replacements, public improvements, regulator stations, and new business projects. Most of my time was spent designing in AutoCAD creating plan view designs and bore profiles, conducting meetings with Nicor and/or third parties, and coordinating with local municipalities and IDOT. I graduated from the University of Iowa in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
