ABOUT CARSON HEALEY
I was drawn to employment and labour law because it enabled me to solve a plethora of problems facing working people, from the mundane to the extraordinary. Assisting businesses in their management of human resources while providing practical and strategic advice to ensure the long-term viability of employment relationships has proven itself to be rewarding. I take pleasure in advising clients on a wide range of matters from corporate transactions, dismissals, and labour relations to human rights, health and safety, and workers\' compensation issues. While I represent employer clients in litigation, I am equally skilled at providing advice regarding practical and airtight employment and separation agreements, work-related policies, plans, and programs, and assisting in their implementation. I am confident in my belief that clear, proactive, and effective communication is crucial to the development of successful employment relationships. I have been asked to appear on CP24 and CTV News as a legal expert to share my views on current issues in the workplace. Fluent in English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese, I am nonetheless on a lifelong quest to learn many more languages.
