The Florida Student Association is a non-profit corporation housed within State of Florida statutes that is the largest student advocacy and lobbying group in the United States. The Board of Directors is comprised of the 12 Student Body Presidents of the State University System institutions. The Board of Directors internally elects a Chair and two Vice-Chairs to lead the non-profit for a year. The Florida Student Association represents almost half a million students- Elected to represent the roughly students of the twelve institutions of the #1 State University System in the nation- Collaborate with legislators and universities’ administrations to create and pass pro-education legislation- Unite student advancement, lobbying, and advocacy efforts for the twelve public universities in the State of Florida- In addition to serving as Chairman, I also hold the roles of Chief Development Officer and President, where I oversee fundraising efforts to support FSA’s operations and projects, while ensuring the organization’s continued success and stability throughout the year.
