About Carson Bridges
Former student-athlete at Claremont McKenna College (2021) and the Drucker School of Management (2022). Upon graduating in 2022 with my MS in Finance, I began to work for Liberty Mutual Surety in San Francisco, participating in their Surety Underwriting Development Program (SUDP). During that time I obtained my Associate in Fidelity and Surety Bonding (AFSB) and further developed my underwriting skills by analyzing proprietary financial information, making recommendations on bond requests, and completing annual reviews. I also attended numerous industry events to network with construction professionals, brokers, CPAs, and bankers. In my current role as a contract underwriter I am now handling a book of business in the Northern California region while continuing to build relationships with many brokers/industry peers. I am responsible for assessing the credit risk of contractors by observing various components of their business structure and financial profile in order to determine surety support.
