ABOUT CARSEN SCHAEFER
The path from my undergraduate experience at UNC Charlotte to a Master of Accountancy at Auburn University has been marked by a steadfast commitment to financial literacy, French language and culture, and accounting excellence. Academically, my undergraduate pursuit included a dual focus in Accounting and French Studies, underpinning my analytical skills with a multicultural perspective. Throughout my time at Charlotte, I interned at a variety of CPA firms, seeing public and private clients. My leadership as a Peer Ambassador at Niner Finances reflects my dedication to empowering others through financial education. Extracurricular activities of mine included serving various leadership roles in the Business Honors Program and French Club. Through being a Martin Scholar at Charlotte, I was able to study abroad twice, in Lyon and Paris, France, enhancing my cultural comprehension and fluency. Currently, I am a MAcc student at Auburn University and have passed all my CPA exams. My goal upon graduation is to join a CPA firm in the Assurance/Audit service line.
