My passion is communication, because communication is about sharing experiences, big and small. Communication means exploring places and ideas. Communication is that brilliant spark that is a new idea, or a conversation between two people just recognizing a connection. It is looking at an idea and thinking, how can I share this so that my reader or listener really gets it? It is getting to know colleagues and finding the ways that we work better together. I believe details matter because beauty and success are both in the details. I believe finished and flawed is better than perfect but unfinished, especially in marathons. And I believe there’s nothing better than a book and a blanket and a cup of tea on a cold winter’s day, unless it’s a sunburn and a water bottle and the top of a mountain you weren’t sure you’d really climb when you started.Things I love:Colorado patios, long walks with my dogs, long brunches with my friends, and listening to the music of mountains and oceans.Best book I’ve read this year: Hidden Potential by Adam Grant.
