ABOUT CARRIE RIVLIN
It started with a graduate role in tech PR. It was. fine. Learnt the ropes, liked the PR part, not so much the tech part. Onto a bigger agency and in my first company meeting I heard what the healthcare team was doing - and I knew exactly where I wanted to be. I made the move, and haven\'t looked back. In the 25+ years since I\'ve worked at big and small communications consultancies delivering strategic healthcare communications programmes at global and regional levels, for some of the biggest names in the business such as Pfizer, ViiV Healthcare and Novo Nordisk, on fascinating disease areas. I\'ve been in-house too, enjoying the opportunities that come with not being beholden to timesheets and developing a much deeper understanding of the company, the products and the patients. I love the work, I love mentoring others, I love coming to something new and giving a fresh perspective. Overall though, working in healthcare and pharma - that\'s what I love.
