WORK HISTORY
Senior Business Analyst @Government Of Canada
Technical Data Management System (TDMS) – Canadian Coast GuardI worked on a TDMS review for the Coast Guard, documenting requirements for a coast-to-coast solution for technical data and associated documents to support the life cycle of assets including ships, vessels and other land based navigational aids. Reviewing processes and assessing operational functionality identified two solutions and more than ten initiatives that would bring the CCG into alignment with the data direction of DFO. Several deliverables, including a Business Requirements Document, were created to support decision-making.

ABOUT CARRIE NERMO
Business Analyst ** Data Analyst ** Full Stack DeveloperExperienced Senior Analyst with an emphasis on Regulatory and Compliance issues. 10 years’ experience in the Capital Markets presiding over compliance investigations, data examination and analysis, and enforcement issues. Diverse experience as a petroleum technician with an oil and gas producing company (7 years), evaluation company (7 years) and M&A company (2 years). Passion for research, data analysis and modelling with a keen eye for detail and uncovering business solutions. Self-motivated software early adopter using analytic tools to identify trends and present results.I am intrigued by new challenges, and energized by getting down to the business of business.A recent ASC project involved researching almost 500 oil and gas companies over 10 years, and not only identifying whether they were in compliance with current securities law but how well the third party evaluations reflected and impacted their growth to sustain operations. Now, when it comes to my recent achievements in programming, I have embraced learning my full stack from JS/HTML/CSS + React to Python and R through Express. When it comes to the data side I have yet to determine which SQL is my groove because I\'ve tackled Oracle PL/SQL and MySQL, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL and other NoSQL products such as Neo4J and MongoDB. I\'m always exploring new tools.I\'m currently looking for my next stimulating challenge and look forward to creating the tangibles or grabbing the baton.
