ABOUT CARRIE OWENS
I help companies navigate customs, trade remedies, and economic security risks. My work spans duty mitigation, enforcement of trade remedies, responding to illicit trade, forced labor compliance, supply chain resilience and addressing foreign threats to US economic competitiveness.Before joining Kelley Drye, I served in senior roles at DHS and CBP. I led a team of attorneys responsible for cargo entry and duty refund programs and designed and ran the EAPA investigations program that uncovered illicit trade and saved US industries. While working with the Intelligence Community I led public-private engagement with more than 75 companies and trade associations. I will leverage my over 20 years of federal government experience to help clients anticipate risk, resolve problems, and keep goods moving.
