ABOUT CARRIE KOSAC
I am a graduate of Davenport University with a BAS in Accounting and a BAS in Business Management and received my MBA from the University of Notre Dame. I have experience in various aspects of commercial banking including Commercial Credit Underwriting, Commercial Loan Workout and government and CRA lending, leading the award-winning SBA and Economic Development Department. I have spent 5 years in Treasury Management in my role as Division Head of Treasury Services at 1st Source Bank. I am currently working at Honor Credit Union, serving as Director of Commercial Credit and Operations.In my Treasury Services role, I led multiple Treasury system conversions and new product development efforts. Notably, I am proud to say that 1st Source Bank is one of the first Financial Institutions to be live on FedNow instant payments! I also led the Treasury team in connecting for instant payments via RTP. Both networks, FedNow and RTP, are connected for sending and receiving.I earned my APRP certification (Accredited Payments Risk Professional) and will be working on other certifications in the near term. In years past, I was Credit Risk Certified through RMA.Among other passions, I am very passionate about small business. I have served numerous nonprofit organizations in a volunteer role and enjoy serving my community; particularly those that intersect with my passions. Some of my volunteer activities include serving as a board member for the following: Indiana Statewide Community Development Corp, Community Investment Fund of Indiana, Family Justice Center of St. Joseph County, Advisory Board for Women\'s Entrepreneurial Initiative at Saint Mary\'s College.
