ABOUT CARRIE ANN MATTERA

I am currently employed at Rickard Specialty Metals & Engineering which specializes is raw material sales as well as semi finished parts. I am looking forward to continuing the companys growth both with increaing sales and moving us forward operationally. I was previously with Marko Metals, a small family owned scrap company, in business since 1995. I was a scrap buyer and I sought out various metals (specializing in exotics, titanium, inconel, etc.), cable and various other recyclables. Other past employment includes Procurement Manufacturing Expert for Honeywell Aerospace. I traveled to various Honeywell suppliers across the United States in order to work jointly to improve delivery to Honeywell. I have also been employed at Bralco Metals a Division of Reliance as a Buyer and formerly as Cost Analyst for the Production/Planning Dept. I have 15+ years of experience working with raw material for aerospace applications. This comes from being Production Manager at Service Steel also a division of Reliance in which I dealt with open die forgings, outside processing and order planning. In addition to my years there, I have also been the Inside Sales Manager for Exova Test labs, Santa Fe Springs Aerospace Division who specialized in testing various metals to qualify them for use in various applications.I have also been employed at California Metal and Supply in Santa Fe Springs where I was the Quality Manager as well as the Operations and Business Development Manager. During my time there, I successfully passed a Boeing Supplier Audit with zero findings, Re-wrote portions of the Quality Manual, and completely set up their outside process flow which included material purchases as well as how to handle full on production jobs from forging to completion.
