WORK HISTORY
Executive Director @Lone Cone Library
Norwood, CO, US
As the Director of a small rural library, I find myself doing a little bit of everything from programming to budgeting to policy creation/revision. No two days are the same and the opportunity for professional growth is vast. I enjoy the challenge of each new project, and there are many! In the last couple of years my job has centered around community engagement. The library plays an important role in our local economy by providing resources and acting as a connector. The success of our work is demonstrated by the completion of the new library in May, 2019.

ABOUT CARRIE ANDREW
I am passionate about community, but I see community in a more global sense. I look at an institution, location and time, separately and together, considering how they are interconnected and how the layers work together towards a goal. I am a connector and an avid networker. I believe that every person I meet has some unique perspective to offer to the evolution of a project. I believe in empowering individuals to follow their passions. Although I may sound like an idealist, I get things done.
