Provide program oversight and vision for the Wellesley Community Children\'s Center, a private, non-profit program serving infants through school children. serves families from Wellesley College, Babson College and the surrounding communities. The center is comprised of an Early Childhood Program, located on the Wellesley College campus, and an After School Program located in six Wellesley Public Schools. The Early Childhood Program enrolls 90 children and the School Age Programs enrolls over 300 children. emphasizes a child centered approach; meeting each child\'s needs by providing a warm, caring, exciting and explorative environment for early childhood and school age children. As Executive Director I provide the vision, leadership, and mentoring to over 64 teachers and administrative staff. In partnership with the Program Directors I oversee program curriculum, staff professional development and ensure all EEC licensing regulations are met and policies and philosophies are followed. I work closely with a Board of Directors to prepare reports, oversee business practices, and prepare and manage the annual budget process, and oversee the strategic direction of I oversee fundraising activities in partnership with the Fundraising Board Committee. As Executive Director I foster collaborative relationships with Wellesley Public Schools, Wellesley College, Babson College, and the Wellesley Community. My role includes building a strong sense of community among a diverse group of families, staff, college personnel and outside agencies.
