ABOUT CAROLYN SEDGWICK
A trailblazer in Sustainability, Climate Change, and Business Transformation, Carolyn has spent three decades delivering innovative solutions that drive triple bottom line benefits. Carolyn is a recipient of the Canada Clean16/Clean50 award in recognition of Canada’s top contributors to sustainability for her efforts to advance the field of carbon accounting and climate-related financial disclosure. She began her career as an Environmental Scientist with the Ontario MOE and Environment Canada, before moving into corporate business roles where she saw the opportunity to drive meaningful change. Prior to joining VETTA Building Technologies Inc, Carolyn was the AVP Corporate Strategy and Sustainability at Canadian Tire Corporation; Global Director, ESG for Swiss-based Clariant AG, and Director, Business Transformation at the Ontario Pension Board. Carolyn holds a Bachelor and Master’s degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo and Dalhousie University respectively.
