About Carolyn M.

I am a Kelley School of Business alumna where I earned a MBA with a concentration in financial analysis in addition to my undergraduate majors in accounting and finance and minors in economics and psychology. Currently, I am a senior manager in PwC\'s Washington National Tax Services M&A Tax practice. In this role I assist with developing and analyzing structuring transactions for public and private corporations by writing opinions, completing tax research, and assisting local teams. I have also performed tax due diligence on various transactions, drafted structuring steps and tax considerations, assisted with complex partnership allocations, and identified section 382 ownership changes and calculated section 382 base limitations. I have also had the opportunity to develop the skills of my colleagues by being a part of a team to develop training material for incoming local market M&A Tax staff and other line of service staff. I became a Certified Public Accountant (\"CPA\") in Illinois as of September 2020 and in Washington DC as of November 2024. I also became a Chartered Financial Analyst (\"CFA\") in September 2022.
