About Carolyn Pierce

From a Work-Study Peer Counselor in college to the President of Heald College, Carolyn Pierce has continued to spend her career helping others attain their educational goals. As President of Heald College, the Fresno Campus became the largest campus for Heald College for many years. Under her leadership, the campus won many top awards for student satisfaction, employee satisfaction, low employee turnover, compliance and audit scores. In addition the College was awarded the Fresno Bee’s People Choice Award winner for eight consecutive years. Carolyn is an entrepreneur at heart as well, having stared her own Facelogic Spa business in 2007. Success followed her in this endeavor as she also won several awards from the Franchisor for membership development and sales. Her business was also recognized by the Fresno Bee’s People’s Choice Awards. Community partnership and participation has been an important mission for Carolyn. She has served in Rotary for 17 years, as well as serving on the boards of the Fresno Chamber of Commerce, the Golden Valley Girl Scouts prior to its merger, the Better Business Bureau, the Adult Education Task Force, Hands On Central California, and the Fresno Ski Club. Carolyn also enjoys volunteering at her church greeting and teaching at Vacation Bible School, as well as sporting events like the California Classic Weekend, the Jingle Bell Run, the Support Blue run, as well as other events. In 1995 Carolyn was named one of Fresno’s Top Ten Business Women, and in 2007 she was named Clovis Chamber Business Person of the Year. Being in a military family afforded Carolyn an opportunity to live in many places, but she considers Fresno her home. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Business from UCLA and her MBA from University of Redlands. Her peers consider Carolyn to be a strong marketing and communications specialists along with possessing great leadership, sales, staff development and public speaking skills. My current passion is helping people invest in home ownership or refinancing to save money. I specialize in educating first time home buyers. I am a mortgage broker and work with the top wholesale lenders.
