Responsible for the detailed operating logic and electrical loop schematic for Solar’s gas turbine compressor sets and mechanical drive packages integrated into new equipment sales order projects. Responsibilities include instrumentation schematics, all electrical design, PLC control logic and HMI display applications- Lead the design and development of control systems for manufacturing processes- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, scope, and objectives, ensuring alignment with client expectations- Program PLCs and develop HMI interfaces for real-time monitoring and control- Conduct on-site troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime- Optimize control algorithms and implement PID (proportional integral derivative) control strategies to improve process stability and product quality via my work in PLC programming- Generate detailed electrical schematics using Promis-e and oversee the panel design and assembly process- Ensure compliance with safety standards, including NFPA, NEC, and OSHA, throughout the project lifecycle- Successfully completed all projects within budget and on schedule- Provide technical support and training to maintenance and operations teams for seamless system operation- Conducted system testing and validation to ensure compliance with design specifications and client requirements- Collaborated with engineers, third party suppliers, manufactures, and subject matter experts to troubleshoot and resolve control system issues as needed- Contributed to documentation efforts, including creating user manuals and as-built drawings.
