Hello there, I’m Carolyn! As a current MBA candidate at The University of Texas at Dallas (WHOOSH), I am eagerly pivoting from secondary education into the world of marketing. With my unique perspective on consumers and devotion to strategy / planning in everything I do, I hope to create impactful, moving, and fantastic content marketing. But I won’t be able to do this alone. Which is why I have learned to be a reliable, organized, and empathetic team member. After years of end-to-end planning, creating, and implementing strategic curricula, my skills using data in order to drive result-focused decisions will make me a strong asset on any team. As I pursue opportunities in the MBA, National Association for Women MBAs, and MBAs for Christ, I am thrilled to perfect my skills in project management, social media campaigning, company branding, operations, public speaking, and team management. Service is a passion of mine. For 16 years, I have been committed to giving back. As the community service representative of my MBA class, I have enjoyed my time serving my cohort by planning and executing community service projects. Some of my favorites so far have been a service day at Bonton Farms, cleaning up White Rock Lake in For the Love of the Lake, and a clothing drive to support Dallas Life. I look forward to someday using my skills to solve tedious challenges companies face within marketing and implement innovative and consumer-focused campaigns.
