About Brenda de Smidt
Brenda Carolyn Molina is a graduate from San Jose State University, who studied to earn her Bachelor\'s Degree in Public Relations. Before things turned and twisted in the year 2020, she had the opportunity to intern for the Assignment Desk at Telemundo Bay Area. That is where she got to be part of the behind the scenes of finding newsworthy events and seeing them deliver on the live news broadcast. Then through the unprecedented times, she was able to gain another experience with Acterra, under a program that became its own organization months later called Climate Resilient Communities. There she was able to serve the communities that surround her through challenging circumstances. Climate change was a very relevant factor during 2020 as well, where she was able to deliver more information to communities on how to make our planet a better and therefore healthier planet. As things slowly became steady, and more \"known in the unknown\" she returned to Telemundo Bay Area as a \"Production Assistant\" where she was able to sprout and see more of the community issues while assisting through the RESPONDE department which is the Consumer Investigative unit. Molina has recognized that she has been blessed with many beautiful blessings/opportunities and is very hopeful and excited for the future that is in store for herself and for the friends/colleagues that are beside her.
