Carolyn was the project engineer for several mining feasibility studies including the BHP Billiton Jansen Potash Selection Study, an estimate and mine design for a $14 billion project and potentially the biggest potash mine in the world and Imperial Oil, Kearl Oil Sands front end engineering design project with an Engineering cost of $126 million to develop an estimate of $11 Billion for mine construction. Carolyn’s PM skills are further enhanced through her experience in management consulting where she completed management accounting and strategy work for government clients; finance where she completed projects at CIBC and manufacturing where she was a product team manager for an automotive supplier in the US.Carolyn enjoys proposal writing and bid management. She is also skilled at strategic data analysis and interpretation with the ability to identify high level trends. Carolyn has a strong commitment to Health and Safety. She has been certified as an OFA2 attendant since 2008 and was a member of both the Stantec and AMEC Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committees. Carolyn has an interest in sustainable infrastructure and is a certified and registered Envision Sustainability Professional.
