About Carol Gregory

The climate crisis is one of the most significant civil rights issues of our lifetime. As SVP of Communications & Marketing at Conservation Law Foundation (CLF)—I’m privileged to lead a team of strategic communications professionals committed to developing messaging and content that is pivotal in environmental wins and social justice milestones.Together, we’ve positioned CLF as the foremost authority for news media and influential decision-makers, solidifying our standing as one of New England\'s most trusted and reputable environmental nonprofits. A big part of amplifying CLF’s presence, impact, and standing in the market centers on blending both traditional, digital, and social communications strategies—from creative content and graphics to video storytelling, op-eds, and action alerts that mobilize audiences and shape public opinion.Recent CLF achievements include establishing five of the nation’s strongest climate laws and filing the first lawsuit of its kind against fossil fuel corporations for deceptive climate practices. As a career-long advocacy communications expert, I’ve led strategic campaigns for grassroots to $70M+ organizations in social justice, technology access, human rights, and environmental protection. My specializations include translating complex technical, scientific, and legal information into persuasive narratives that resonate with funders, constituents, decision-makers, and the general public. I also build team cultures of accountability and trust to achieve ambitious goals and maximize organizational success.Along the way, I’ve helped organizations navigate and thrive during periods of change—revitalizing brands; establishing thought leadership; and expanding visibility through earned, owned, and paid media. The collective outcome has been increased audience diversity, membership, engagement, and new revenue through online fundraising and foundation grants.JOIN CLF:CLF’s communications team excels at finding innovative ways to push our messages out in a noisy and competitive space. We’re a diverse group of people and thinkers, blending the best of our backgrounds and perspectives to foster innovation and drive positive change.
