About Carol Oberlam

At Epic Systems, I worked 6+ years managing Inpatient and Oncology healthcare IT teams for large organizations to implement new systems, optimize workflows, and resolve front and back-end issues. Throughout my domestic and international SaaS customer management career, I have collaborated with end users, system analysts, operations, and C-suite. My core account management work has developed my service/technical skills, team/project management, and oral/written communication.I have a passion for helping others problem solve and find creative solutions, shown by not only my Technical Account Manager role but also by my internal roles. I had a hand in every aspect of the new hire experience, from Team Lead/Manager, Advisor, Mentor, Service Coach, and division-wide roles to shape how the new hire experience changed and grew. I worked with and helped manage over 40 applications teams to collect data on what worked and didn\'t to best improve new hire orientation and training.I also have a drive to create and finetune process efficiencies. From the ground up, I led a process for how our teams built customer education and regularly grew training materials. In 3 years with that process, I managed and hosted 30 webinars with over 240 customers/webinar.After leaving Epic, I took some time to refresh, travel, and get ready for the next career path I will take. I am grateful I had the chance to do so, as I feel even more excited to work on future projects.
