Ensures all operations meet the organization\'s overall objectives and requirements with regard to subscribers and providers. Responsible for the overall operations of the health plan. Develops and recommends corporate policies and programs, guiding in maintaining and improving its position and profitability. Directs activities to ensure services for members in a timely manner with quality standards and cost objectives. Participates in various committees to formulate strategic vision and implements recommended initiatives. Negotiate contracts, maintains banking relationships, and consultants relationships. Oversees external audits, Department of Insurance, government, and other tax and compliance reporting. Approves policies and procedures. Presents financial results to the Board of Trustees and committees. Promotes process improvement opportunities.
