I operate as a thought partner to capital and leadership, with accountability for execution.Over my career, I have resolved distressed portfolios, built risk and performance systems, professionalized investment operations, and guided organizations through recapitalizations, liquidity events, and organizational change—often where financial outcomes and public purpose are tightly intertwined. I have led portfolio operations in multiple startup RIAs with impact mandates and complex asset mixes.Currently, I serve as Chief Operating Officer at Grounded Capital, an investment advisor with a regenerative approach to real assets and private equity. Internally, I lead firmwide operations and portfolio oversight, including valuation, reporting, governance, risk management, and key investor relationships, and built the institutional operating platform supporting a $2B family office portfolio transition and multi-year repositioning. Externally, I foster relationships with peers, families, and aligned practitioners, connecting us to the broader ecosystem.Previously, as Managing Director at The Reinvestment Fund, I led lending portfolio strategy and operations across complex CDFI lending and impact investment funds. I resolved over $80M in distressed loans, co-led the firm’s fund management subsidiary, and played a central role in preserving the organization’s A+ S&P credit rating during a major recapitalization and $127M taxable bond issuance.I am known for my calm authority, sound judgment, and the ability to move organizations forward when capital, mission, and reality collide.
