ABOUT CAROLINE OBERMAN MINSTLM

June 2024 marks my 19th year in the world of construction recruitment and also my leap into business ownership - as co - owner of Intro Construction Group.My career started in 2005 as a trainee consultant with Beresford Blake Thomas, managing a housebuilding desk working on roles of a temporary and permanent nature. I progressed from trainee to consultant within 4 months billing I developed the desk to work with private residential (spec) housebuilders and social housing contractors until January 2007 when I was approached to join Search Consultancy Liverpool in order to establish their white collar construction business.My career at Search went from strength to strength initially working again within the residential market, and then helping to start up desks within civil engineering and infrastructure, fit out, consultancy / private practice, architecture and health and safety. In doing this I progressed from consultant through to Senior Consultant and in 2009 due to market conditions I established a new division within Search working within the power and energy sector, with a focus on nuclear engineering. This enabled me to progress through to managing consultant and then Divisional Manager overseeing the White Collar Construction and Engineering Divisions within the Liverpool and Manchester offices. In July 2014 I made the decision to join Linear Recruitment as the Regional Manager for the North West, to set up and develop the Manchester branch as an addition to the already successful offices throughout the UK. I successfully grew the NW market and was made director in 2017, overseeing perm, temp and trades consultants. I worked throughout the pandemic supporting the business and my team.In 2023 I took the plunge to co own an agency with Dean Singleton. Intro Construction Group covers all areas of construction recruitment from labourers and trades people up to Director level. We pride ourselves on dong the basics right everytime and offer a personalised flexible service. As always my preference is to partner with like minded companies and nurture relationships.
