About Caroline McCoy

In 2007, I accepted a position at the Economic Development Council of Okaloosa County and moved into the Director of Business Expansion position in 2013. In 2018, I received the Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) designation. My main focus at the EDC was to assist existing businesses in their expansion opportunities. Through my role, I was able to build lasting relationships with local companies from the IT sector, manufacturing sector and even a brewery! I\'ve managed and secured several million dollars in grants for companies during my tenure with the EDC.After 12 years in the non-profit world, I became a Wizard in 2019 at Bit Wizards. In 2025, I became the COO of both Bit-Wizards and TalkingParents after serving as the Director of Compliance and Director of Finance. I currently serve on the Fort Walton Beach Medical Center Women\'s Advisory Council and as a mentor of a high school student in Take Stock in Children Okaloosa.
