Asian Women Coaching Collective is a nonprofit (founded in 2021) focused on supporting Asian heritage women coaches by helping them live and work with cultural authenticity, grow visibility in the coaching industry, and build a strong, supportive community where they can be discovered. In this role, I contribute my leadership and community-building focus while taking on financial stewardship responsibilities that help the organization operate sustainably and expand its impact.

ABOUT CAROLINE KIM
I’m an executive and leadership coach to high achievers ready for change or growth, drawing on 20+ years leading people. I left a stable director role because helping people feel seen and heard matters more to me than title. I’ve invested a lot in my growth as a leader, learning to build confidence, overcome imposter syndrome, and let go of perfectionism.My coaching was shaped in high-growth tech settings, working with managers and senior leaders on high-stakes decisions and rapid change. I’ve helped leaders grow, get promoted, and build teams. At Google, my coaching earned a 4.9/5 rating and 2024 Coach Excellence Award. My clients value my calm communication and ability to hold space while keeping it safe and human. I listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and give practical feedback.I led large cross-functional teams and organizations at Google, from building new programs to training thousands of employees. I’m an ICF-certified coach with Stanford degrees in International Relations and Industrial Engineering and a mom of two boys who loves laughter, yoga, hiking, and good books.My lived experience is central to how I coach. I’m a first-gen Korean-American who grew up in Illinois, went to France on an exchange program at age 13, and began my career in Kobe, Japan. That early international experience shaped my comfort with cross-cultural teams and gave me a deep appreciation for how culture influences workplace dynamics. I feel fortunate in my personal life, and my gratitude and satisfaction shape how I think about my work and the legacy I’m building as a coach.Burnout is a key part of my story. I’ve rebounded from debilitating burnout with a new relationship to work, stress, and success. That shows up in my coaching as empathy, steadiness, and conviction that my clients will be okay. My mission is to shift burnout culture for high achievers who are exhausted, disconnected, or trapped on the inside. I create a safe space where clients can be vulnerable, name what’s really going on, and rebuild in a healthier way, focusing on stress management, boundaries, and sustainable goals so they can lead and live differently, not just work harder.\'Yes, It’s Friday\' comes from a simple idea: finding a bit of Friday in each day. In Korean, Friday includes the character for \'gold\' and my surname Kim, so Friday is literally my \'golden day\', a reminder that you can build a life that is more spacious, healthy, and alive. Success for me is helping clients become the best version of themselves: strong, happy, healthy and kind to themselves and others.
