About Caroline Kent

I am a recent summa cum laude graduate from Northern Illinois University, where I earned my B.S. in Business Administration with a Marketing minor and a 3.97 GPA. As a Presidential Scholar and honors student, I’ve been recognized with numerous academic distinctions including the NCAA Mid-American Conference (MAC) Academic Honor Roll, Commissioner\'s Award, Academic All-MAC, CSC Academic All-District, and WGCA Scholar All-American honors. As a Division I Women’s Golf Student-Athlete on a 4-year athletic scholarship, I balanced 20–30+ hours per week of training and competition while consistently achieving academic excellence. My internship experiences with the Northern Texas PGA Section and the PGA of America Headquarters further sharpened my skills and deepened my commitment to high-performance environments. In Fall 2025, I will begin my MBA at NIU, where I look forward to expanding my business knowledge and leadership capabilities. I’m passionate about leveraging the discipline, work ethic, and strategic mindset I’ve developed through athletics and academics to make a meaningful impact in the business world.

   As a Graduate Assistant for the NIU MBA program (previously a student worker during my last semester senior year), I manage the department’s marketing and social media efforts to boost brand awareness, student engagement, and recruitment. I create digital content, support event promotion, and collaborate with program leadership to ensure consistent, effective communication across platforms and programs.
