Hi LinkedIn, I’m looking forward to connecting with you! Here’s a bit about me and my background. I was born in Washington DC and raised in New Orleans with my parents and 2 brothers. After several years of enjoying creole cuisine, jazz music, and incredible festivals, my dad was offered a job in New Jersey so we packed up and moved. In 9th grade, I went to boarding school in Alexandria, VA, and enjoyed the unlimited froyo in the dining hall. The student population was diverse and many came from all over the world. Next, I returned to the northeast, where I attended Trinity College in Hartford, CT. Soon after graduation in 2011, I moved to NYC and began working for StoreBoard Media, which was acquired by Advantage Solutions in 2014. Immediately, our team of 5 ballooned into a team of 60 overnight and I was tasked with leading change and increasing my managerial responsibilities. I gladly accepted the task to unify our teams and make it a smooth transition. 2018 🧳In 2018, excited to try something new, I proposed a somewhat unconventional plea to my boss to work remotely. They agreed so I packed up my apartment and traveled to Southeast Asia. I surfed, walked, hiked, visited more temples than I could count, and ate food I could barely identify. Of course, I kept up with my responsibilities and maintained constant communication with my team while abroad. I worked harder, more efficiently, and with a renewed sense of purpose. & Since then, I have said goodbye to NYC and hello (again) to New Orleans. I continue to work remotely and served as a critical advisor to executives when Covid shifted the dynamics of office life. In early 2022, I was promoted to Senior Director of Operations and was nominated into our prestigious Ambassador Program of 40 employees selected for leadership and innovation.\' Outside of work, I continue to volunteer with Son of a Saint, an organization that transforms the lives of fatherless young men through mentorship, emotional support, and the development of life skills. I’m also celebrating my recent marital engagement which has been exciting!
