ABOUT CAROLINE FIELD

Caroline is head of Fox & Partners\' litigation practice. Fox & Partners is a City of London solicitors practice specializing in partnership and employment law. The firm acts for corporate clients, professional partnerships and LLPs, senior executives and partners. A great deal of Caroline’s time is spent acting on employment, director, shareholder, LLP and partnership disputes, as well as general commercial disputes. Advising professional partners, partnerships and LLPs, typically in the legal, consultancy and financial services sectors (including hedge fund, asset management and private equity), is the cornerstone of her practice. Caroline’s experience includes disputes arising out of breaches of contract, including relating to actual or threatened expulsion of partners, changes to partners’ remuneration or other rights (including good and bad leaver provisions and carried interest), team moves, breaches of restrictive covenants and fiduciary duty, civil fraud, misuse of confidential information, unfairly prejudicial conduct, alleged discrimination and whistleblowing. Caroline has significant experience in preparing whistleblowing claims in the financial services sector before the Employment Tribunal and EAT.Caroline has obtained and defended injunctions for business protection from employee/partner competition and brought complex matters to a successful conclusion following trial and ADR. Caroline\'s focus is providing straightforward advice, which always takes account of clients\' commercial objectives. Caroline is a committee member of the LSLA. She is a member of the Association of Partnership Practitioners.
