ABOUT CAROLINE WRIGHT CEMAP

I have 21 years worth of experience in Retail Banking and finance. I have worked 15 years in a branch environment and in many roles within the branch, including Manager, Personal Banking Manager, Mortgage Representative and Mortgage and Protection Consultant. I consider myself very knowledgable in terms of how important each staff member contributes to the business. I previously worked in a unique area of business within Nationwide, as a Mortgage and Protection Consultant (CeMap qualified) where all of my appointments were conducted via video conferencing. Nationwide prides itself on looking after over 400 Nationwide branches up and down the UK over video conferencing. During 2018, I worked on a new business development project within Nationwide which helped to launch video to member technology. I helped to bring this to life so staff member could have meetings with Nationwide members in their own homes via video, which was fast tracked during the pandemic.During the pandemic, I was loaned out to another newly established department within Nationwide for 12 months and during this period was able to support my colleagues, whether branch based, phone based or face to face who had been targeted by verbal and agressive members. This was the most challenging, yet rewarding task I\'ve had to deal with to date due to the sensitivity of the cases I worked through. In 2021, I took redundancy from Nationwide and joined a fantastic team at O\'Riordan Bond, I have learnt and grown and truly love working in the broker world. Im so lucky to be able to have really lovely colleagues who have helped me grow my broker knowledge. I have knowledge of credit reports and credit referencing and all aspects of case packaging not only as a bank consultant but also as a mortgage broker working with over 94 lenders. I represent the Mortgage Advice Bureau which allows me to have access to the whole of the mortgage market. With my Cemap qualification, I am also qualified to give advice on Protection to which I use a panel of lenders provided to me by the Mortgage Advice Bureau.
