ABOUT CAROLINE WIERZEJSKA
Caroline works as a Senior Innovation Consultant at Innovation Unit, a social enterprise creating and scaling solutions that enable more people to belong and contribute to thriving societies. In her work she focuses on innovation in the mental health sector. In 2019 Caroline completed the On Purpose Associate programme, a leadership programme for mid-career professionals entering the social and environmental impact space. With On Purpose, she did two 6-months placements with a social investment bank ClearlySo and a social enterprise accelerator Ark Ventures. Before On Purpose, Caroline worked in management and technology consulting for 3.5 years with a global technology company Accenture. She focused on public sector clients and corporate social responsibility. Innovation and human centred design are particular interest areas for Caroline. She completed a LUMA Institute Design Thinking Academy and Human Centered Design training by IDEO.org. Caroline holds a degree in Politics, Psychology and Sociology from the University of Cambridge and has been increasingly interested in how insights from academia influence the work of social entrepreneurs. Outside of work, Caroline enjoys good tea, mindfulness and dog walking.
