Lead Staples in-house labor and employment attorney for all lines of business, including supply chain, retail, sales, and corporate.\\\\nResponsibilities include:\\\\n• Managing litigation of all employment, wage & hour, and class action suits, and negotiating settlements of pending and threatened litigation;\\\\n• Providing legal advice and counsel to and partnering with executive leaders, management, and human resources on performance management, accommodations and leaves, discrimination, discipline, wage and hour, and non-compete issues;\\\\n• Providing traditional labor law counseling;\\\\n• Mitigating risk in areas of recruitment, hiring, termination, restructuring, data privacy, and workplace violence;\\\\n• Developing, revising, implementing, and providing training on employment policies and best practices; and\\\\n• Drafting severance plans and agreements, and managing RIF, OWBPA, and WARN compliance.\\\\n\\\\n
