About Caroline Smith
I serve as the Program Manager of Communications, Scholarships & Grants at the Pulte Family Charitable Foundation, where I lead mission-driven initiatives that enhance visibility, expand educational opportunity, and strengthen community partnerships. In this role, I oversee communications efforts—including the annual report, website, press releases, social media, and marketing strategy—while managing our scholarship portfolio and collaborating with eight educational institutions across the country. I also assist in the grant allocation process. My academic background includes a Master’s in Business from the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business, a Bachelor’s in Communications (Magna Cum Laude) from Saint Mary’s College, and a Data Analytics Certificate from Harvard Business School. This education empowers me to approach nonprofit leadership with both creativity and analytical precision. Before joining the Foundation, I worked at Gartner, Inc, supporting digital transformation and strategic planning for public sector clients across the U.S. and Canada. I also bring experience in events and operations, having worked as a Wedding & Event Coordinator with ExperienceND and as a Football Manager at the University of Notre Dame during their undefeated season—managing logistics for events with 300+ guests and team operations.Outside of work, I’m deeply committed to service and civic engagement. I’m the Vice President of the Notre Dame Club of Boca Raton (500+ members), former Miss Palm Beach County 2023 (Business Marketing Award recipient), and a proud supporter of NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness)—for which I led and ran a marathon fundraising campaign, raising thousands of dollars to support mental health initiatives.I’ve coached Girls on the Run for four years, I am a member of the Forum Club of the Palm Beaches, and serve on the Public Affairs Committee (SPAC) with the Junior League of Boca Raton, advocating for health and hunger policies that impact children and families at the state level.I was recently inducted into the Dames Society of Cancer Research, named a Beyond the Fairs 2026 Candidate, and represent Kendra Scott as a Palm Beach Ambassador, fostering local partnerships that give back.I’m passionate about using communication, leadership, and data to create programs that educate, empower, and inspire. Let’s connect and collaborate toward making a positive, lasting impact.
