Thank you for connecting with me! I\'m a Junior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison aiming to graduate with a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies from the School of Human Ecology. I aspire to pursue a master\'s degree after my bachelor\'s and eventually work with children through counseling and social work. My areas of interest include early childhood development, media literacy, trauma/grief support, and more.Through experience I\'ve developed a fierce passion for advocating for children facing adversity relating to trauma, mental illnesses and other subjects of the matter. Coding Horizon Worlds reviews and analyzing video content to quantify the presence of kids’ voices, providing essential data for FairPlay’s outline to the Federal Trade Commission in support of proposed restrictions on VR games to enhance child safety in digital environments.Reviewing, evaluating, and compiling over 20 scholarly articles, studies, and reports in an annotated bibliography format, focusing on early childhood screen time and its impact on development, health, and well-being to support Fairplay’s mission.Organizing and maintaining a database of research articles, resources, and annotated bibliography entries for easy access and reference by the FairPlay team.Working collaboratively with the Early Childhood Advocacy team to ensure research findings are integrated into ongoing projects and advocacy materials.
