I am a Master of Public Policy student at the University of Virginia’s Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy, graduating in May 2026, with a strong interest in education policy, community development, and social justice. My work and studies focus on how policy can expand opportunity and improve outcomes for historically underserved communities.I graduated from the University of Virginia in 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts with High Distinction, double majoring in African & African American Studies and Cognitive Science, with concentrations in Computer Science and Linguistics. My interdisciplinary background allows me to approach policy problems through both analytical and human-centered perspectives. Throughout my academic and professional experiences, I have been committed to combining research, leadership, and service. I have worked with organizations including SEO Career in New York, where I gained experience in information technology and technical systems, and the Julian Bond Papers Project at UVA, where I support efforts to preserve and share the legacy of civil rights leadership through archival research and digital scholarship.I have also been actively involved in civic engagement and mentorship through organizations such as the NAACP and the Black Law Students Association, where I have helped organize programs focused on voting access, community service, and student engagement. My skills include data analysis, programming (Python, R, Java, and C++), and policy research. I am particularly interested in policy solutions at the intersection of education, economic opportunity, and community empowerment.I am always excited to connect with individuals working in public policy, law, education, and community development.
