ABOUT CAROLINE MOREAU-DEVOS
Caroline Moreau, professor of neurology in the Lille University Hospital in France. She co-authored 130 scientific papers (64 % rang A+/ A/B ). SIGAPS : 1765 (90,29) 5 patents and 2 industrial transfers. She participated in 34 studies including 18 multicenter trials.She focused her research on (1)axial disorders in neurodegenerative diseases, namely Parkinsonian syndromes and especially Parkinson’s disease. She studied pathophysiology of axial disorders in PD and its natural history (3 grants), therapeutical aspects (2 grants) and compensatory mechanisms. Her work is recognized internationally in the field of speech and gait disorders, by participating in the MDS dysarthria task force, MDS task force for postural deformities and industryShe is part of the IC FOG consortium, Mickael J Fox Fundation task force for gait disorders, and GALOP program.(2) Another part of her clinical research is dedicated to innovative therapeutics in the field of Parkinson’s disease : she is co-PI of the H2020 Fair Park 2 study and PI of the Intra ventricular dopamine infusion strategy for severe motor fluctuations in people with parkinson’s disease. She is chief medical officer of InBrain Pharma since 2018, InVenis biotherapies since 2022.She is associated editor of journal of Parkinson’s disease since 2019.She is member of the EAN assembly of delegates for France since 2016; SOFMA and CMA french networks for movement disorders.
