ABOUT CAROLINE MCDEARMAN
I\'m a junior at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, majoring in Business Management with a minor in Music Business. I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, and moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee for my final year of high school. Outside of school, I enjoy going to local concerts, playing with my band, songwriting, and spending time with friends. I pride myself on being a fast learner and an empathetic teammate. In every role I’ve had, whether it was an internship or making lattes, I’ve focused on integrating quickly and meeting the expectations of the team around me. My leadership experiences have also taught me how important it is to meet people where they are. Especially in environments where people are volunteering their time, creating a positive and supportive culture is essential. I hope to one day work in the music industry in a managerial role. I’m still exploring exactly what that path looks like, but my experience organizing events and leading teams has sparked a strong interest in booking and promotion. I’m hoping to continue learning and expanding my perspective through a Summer 2026 internship.
