About Caroline Ghio
I am a Biomedical Engineering PhD Candidate at Johns Hopkins University researching novel barcoding technologies in Dr. Reza Kalhor’s lab. I’m passionate about diversity and inclusion in STEM and biotech entrepreneurship. I graduated with a BS in Chemical Engineering from Northeastern University with minors in Data Science and Math. As an undergraduate student, I engaged in four six-month co-ops in industry and participated in research in the Advanced Biosystems for Neuroengineering Lab. I also served on the executive board of the Society of Women Engineers, tutored, performed engineering education research, and led the Data and Analytics team for IDEA, Northeastern’s student-run venture accelerator.
