Independent advisor to the BBC\'s EGSC, a sub-committee of the BBC Board, responsible for ensuring the BBC meets the standards set in its editorial guidelines. It also reports to the Board on current and emerging editorial risks. This follows an earlier role as independent member of the five-person \'Serota Review\' a comprehensive review of BBC editorial processes, governance and culture led by Sir Nicholas Serota.
