Partner with key stakeholders of the service line to identify high priority initiatives that support the quality, safety, patient experience, and strategic growth for Neurosciences. Neurosciences Service lines includes Neurology: General Neurology, Epilepsy, Headache, Neuro vascular, and Neuro Hospitalist as well Neurosurgery: Epilepsy Surgery, General Neurosurgery, Neurosurgery Spine, Peripheral Nerve/Pain, Surgical Movement, Vascular Neurosurgery and Neurosurgery-Cancer. • Collaborate on clinical and technical project teams to apply complex QI models and techniques to improve clinical care and patient safety, patient experience and strategic growth; develops plans to improve quality of patient care. • Provide advice and recommendations on complex clinical QI issues of functionality, efficiency, and program development. • Continuously monitor quality improvement reports, perform adequate data/barrier analysis, identify opportunities for improvement and develop performance improvement targets and recommendations across the neurosciences service line. • Identify gaps in operational and clinical processes to develop plans to improve performance • In partnership with key stakeholders, develop and implement PDSA cycles. Will track, trend, monitor and report out results. • Perform problem solving activities, leveraging root-cause analysis, performance improvement, methodology and independent decision-making, to summarize and present improvement recommendations to Neuroscience’s stakeholders. • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to derive insights and develop corresponding performance improvement plans. • Identify statistical trends, and potential issues in patient care and services. Work collaboratively on highly complex projects in assigned clinical departments to develop corrective plans and monitor their effectiveness.
