It\'s not about how many people see your content, but whether the right ones do. In my job as the Editorial Director of ADL\'s Center for Technology and Society, my work is read by the people who matter. Here\'s what I\'ve done:• Create and oversee editorial strategy for the influential technology policy arm of one of the nation’s oldest civil rights organizations• Conceive and write reports and blog posts regularly read by members of Congress and their staff, tech company executives, policy leaders, and journalists. Wrote ADL’s widely cited “Online Hate and Harassment: The American Experience 2021” and co-wrote its first Online Antisemitism Report Card, which earned an exclusive from The New York Times• CTS reports have been cited by Congress during major hearings about social media • CTS content led to Twitter removing over QAnon accounts after the January 6 insurrection, Reddit releasing its first report on the prevalence of Holocaust denial content, Roblox instituting a trusted flagger program, and more• CTS content has been covered by The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Atlantic, USA Today, Axios, and more• Nominated computer scientist Laura Edelson for ADL’s Belfer Fellowship. Ms. Edelson has testified before Congress and the UK Parliament on misinformation• Because of CTS’ work, The Washington Post wrote, “The ADL and its leaders have emerged as prominent and influential critics of Silicon Valley’s efforts to tamp down on extremism, hate speech and misinformation”
