Process Engineer with 13 years of experience in engineering design for EPC firms, participating in small and medium multidisciplinary projects for Oil & Gas, Industrial and Water/Wastewater plants- Process Engineering design and Process Safety experience includes knowledge of oil & gas and water treatment processes, hydraulic analysis, process simulation, equipment sizing and selection (pumps, tanks, control valves, etc), control systems, analysis of overpressure scenarios, PSVs sizing, flare systems design, process safety (HAZOP, PHA, QRA), P & IDs and PFDs development, operating manuals, SOPs and ERPs, chemical feed systems design for water disinfection, technical reports- Proven experience managing and overseeing small projects, including multi-discipline coordination, budget and scheduling, progress monitoring, attending status meetings, and interaction with other disciplines- Experience developing feasibility studies, proposals, cost estimates, technical specifications, RFQs, vendor selection; as well as providing assistance with tender procedures, construction (shop drawings, RFIs) and commissioning activities- Working knowledge of relevant industry codes of practice and standards: API, ASME, ANSI, NFPA, ASTM, AWWA- Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, engineering simulation software (Aspen Hysys, Hammer V8i, VMG, Flarenet).
