ABOUT CAROLINA KETTLES
ACADEMIC An Amherst College \'23 Political Science and Law, Jurisprudence, and Social Thought (LJST) double major. During my time at Amherst I co-authored a paper,\"Donald Trump\'s Clemencies: Unconventional Acts, Conventional Justifications\" with Professor Austin Sarat, built my own Special Topics course on the Structures of International Migrations with Professor Ruxandra Paul, and am now working on an Honors Thesis on the problematics of Death Penalty Volunteerism as well as my own independent research paper in conjunction with my Special Topics course. EXTRACURRICULAR I have been the President of Amherst\'s Model United Nations for 3 years running, a Resident Advisor (RA) for what is now my 3rd year, and have worked for the Admissions Office helping with tours, projects, and managing routine office procedures.
