Led preclinical assay development, experimental execution, and data analysis supporting the successful implementation of CPTX2309 (an in vivo CAR T therapy) into a Phase 1 Clinical Trial (Phase 1 initiated in May 2025)• CPTX2309 is a targeted lipid nanoparticle that delivers an anti-CD19 CAR mRNA preferentially to CD8-expressing cytotoxic T cells and preclinically, has achieved rapid and transient B cell depletion. The goal of this therapy is to achieve B cell depletion of pathogenic cells in patients with autoimmune disease.• Drafts reports for regulatory submission (INDs) and non-clinical data reports (SEND data)• Develop bioanalytical assays (pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic) as well as biomarker and immunogenicity assays; participates in translation of these preclinical assays to the clinical setting. • Process and analyze ex vivo or in vitro samples through flow cytometry, molecular biology, and other analytical techniques including ELISA, MSD, and other ligand binding assays. • Works with cell culture, including mammalian cell lines and primary immune cells.• Contributes to development and analysis of muti-color flow cytometry assays for characterization of the company’s targeted lipid nanoparticle candidates.• Characterizes immune parameters such as phenotype, cytokine profile, and biodistribution in blood and tissues from preclinical studies or in vitro experiments. • Leads collaborations in a cross-functional team environment, including collaborations with the translational medicine group and CROs.
