I’m a supply chain operations leader with 15+ years of experience enabling and sustaining revenue growth by streamlining operations, improving customer service levels and reducing operating costs with regards to logistic services. In my current position my team and I built up a new Service Delivery Unit for \"Global Overseas Delivery & Customs\" in BASF\'s Service Hub Berlin, providing Supply Chain Services for the BASF Group throughout Europe and EMEA from Berlin and went live on January 1st, 2022. Our focus in \"Global Overseas Delivery\" is on processing sea and air freigt orders globally. The overall responsibility includes Transport Management, Export Management as well as Inbound activities of packed and bulk goods from/to European shipping points. Together with our Tradelane Management and Operational Support teams we ensure that customer requirements are met, transport reliability is maintained, costs are optimized whilst consistently increasing the quality of logistic services provided. Our Supply Chain Excellence team enables a smooth and efficient day-to-day operation whilst focussing on Data Analytics, Performance Management and Process Improvements through Digitalization and Automatization. In \"Global Customs\", our focus is on Customs Import/Export, Customs Classficiation, Preferential Management, Global Customs Compliance and Customs Broker Management.
