Responsible for creating and implementing an Artist-In-Residence (A-I-R) program for Kentucky State Parks, with the support and approval within the TAH Cabinet. Serving as liaison to all State Park Gift Shops. Focus is understanding and enhancing each Park\'s distinctive culture and environment for product and programing purposes, while working with shop decision makers on product placement, layout and positive revenue generation. Establish, support and enhance communications within the Gift Shop supervisors, KY made product information, coupled with KY artists\' and special event programming that reflects the individuality and nature of each Park has been paramount. Created a specific internal communications resource button for Gift Shops allowing supervisors and managers to access KY made product information with ease. This button houses a growing, vetted list of KY artists, organized by County/City area for Gift Shops to reach out to local/regional artists if desired. Shops know that each person(s) or businesses listed has appropriate products for visitors. Also included in this communications tool is a separate list of KY Crafted Artists. Outcome focus is to aid the concept of increasing KY made products and art available for purchase selected independently by gift shops that supervisors and managers feel are reflective of their Park, quality special event programming and implementation of a stellar A-I-R program throughout the Commonwealth, highlighting Kentucky\'s diverse artist talents.
