Employers around the globe rely on A3\'s robotics standards to keep workers safe around industrial robotics. Ms. Franklin supports the development of these industry standards in compliance with ANSI and ISO procedures. She has led 6 major standards-developing committees composed of nearly 300 total individuals from around the globe, including many senior executives from leading multinational companies and start-ups. During her tenure, Ms. Franklin has led the development of a new major ANSI national standard family from an initial meeting to its current status with 2 published standards and a 3rd in development. Simultaneously, she has supported a major update of two existing ISO standards, initiation and development of an all-new ISO standard, and the publication of numerous related technical reports and technical specifications for both ISO and the U.S. She has also led the programming and served as emcee for RIA\'s annual International Robot Safety Conference (IRSC) from 2016 - present, selecting speakers, shaping the conference agenda, and managing the speaker experience. Ms. Franklin also delivers numerous in-person presentations and webinars annually on the topics of standardization, robot safety standards, and industrial robot safety best practices.Ms. Franklin has also led A3 to join an official Alliance with OSHA and NIOSH to share information about current industrial robot best practices, and serves as A3\'s representative on the Steering Committee for the new Standards Center of Excellence (SCoE) administered by ASTM.Skills practiced in this position- Leadership- Coordination of complex global projects with virtual teams- Coordination of multiple deadlines- Project management - Committee management- Expertise in ANSI Procedures- Expertise in ISO Procedures- Technical writing- Article writing- Public speaking- Webinar delivery- Conference programming, speaker selection and speaker relations- Government relations
